Any thoughts about it?
I see quite important shortcomings like one frequency. So, in case of interference you'll have big trouble.
Maybe they are "hard paired" like many 2.4ghz devices... but the antennas look more like UHF than 2.4Ghz..
But anyway - why would anyone choose this instead of Sennheiser? ..is it cheap?
EDIT: OK, the price is cheaper, the frequency is UHF but it is hard wired which is a big con...
I have 3 of the older versions that I have used for years. Great quality, incredible range and very quick to wire someone up as you just drop the transmitter in the subjects pocket. You can also plug in an external mike or transmit the output of a mixing board.
Does this output mic levels with mini jack cable as the GH2 needs?
Mine have mic/line switches on both transmitters and receivers.
Yep, they have such switches. Look at the site.
I have 2 of them and never had any reason to complain. Sound quality is very good and the line of sight range is great. They cost considerably less than Sennhiser and preform as well IMO.
When you order them they look at the frequencies most use in your area to give you the best chance of avoiding any interference.
@petersnap Is it possible to receive 2 transmitter in 1 receiver? (1 transmitter for left and the other for right)
