Will this work with A box for alexa mini ? Or would I need a way to power it to get gain from mic as alexa mini only takes line in . Just need a scratch (no need to be good quality) audio for music video work .

You need some power in connector (for electret mikes), so it won't work with line in.

But can find small cable with battery for such cases.

I read some users complaining that the shock mount on the Boya is prone to breaking. Does anyone here have experience with the Boya they can share on this issue?
