Better Auto Exposure in Video Mode
This is bad tip if using Panasonic lenses. The exposure looks very amateurish because the aperture changes in visible steps.
In fact it is not a tip at all. Just using one of the basic exposure mode.
Setting exposure in degrees is not a big thing either. Anyone can dial a shutter speed doubling the frame rate. If not the whole concept of shutter degrees is meaningless.
Everyone is exited about GX85 and G85. In normal use (lowish iso) the GH4 has better dynamic range and less rolling shutter.
As suggested here

probably the best way to have smooth auto-something video on the GH4 is to use the 4k Photo mode with auto-ISO.
Unfortunately for the European users the generated video seems to be 30p only, irrespective of the camera frequency setting.
I changed link to PV topic, as author is same.
Hey guys! Check out my newest short film shot on the GH4 on Cinema D Settings. ISO at 400 for most scenes. Lens used was Sigma 30mm 1.4 with speed booster interchanged with regular adapter.
@jazzwalker Very nice work. You tell the story with style. Bravo.
@caveport Thanks man! Much appreciated.
Dynamic range comparison. Seems that GH4 has more dyn range than the new G85. The old sensor is still quite good.
Hello everyone, I want to share this fun video clips shot with GH4 to 1080p. I am the director and editor, but I can not tell anything about the technical details, as well as optical cine Samyang, because the GH4 was the first time I used it on a set. My operator-D.P. He would know to tell you more but it is not here with me! :-)
Jazzwalker - enjoyed that very much.
Hi everyone, this is a compilation of our last travel in the south of Madagascar. Filmed with GH4, Samyang 12mm 2.2, Nokton voigtlander 25mm, Panasonic 100-300mm, edited with FCPX and color grading with Color finale.

Weather-sealing is useful: the GH4+Lumix 12-35 and 35-100 f2.8 lenses:
Nice to have snow but not so nice to have this OIS vibration :)
I hope this gets fully fixed in mkII editions...
I thought the vibe issue in the 35-100 got fixed with the last FW update?
