Lightroom for archive video on hard drive?

How do use guys archive your vidoes on hard drive? Do you guys just copy from card to disk or use software? I have start use Lightroom for archive video, i don't know if it is good?

I do it manually. It's easier to double check that it was done and there is no library to mess with.
