Got myself three different headphones.
All three are considered best amoungs Chinese designed and manufactured headphones :-)
As for manufacturing quality, it is clear that thay can compete with best and pricey phones.
Sound is also very good, and different amongst all three. This is usual thing for heaphones. :-)
But my favourite is still Panasonic HTF890.
I'll write more about this phones later.
@Vitaliy_Kiselev Is the Panasonic HTF890 capabale of audio monitoring or they just good for listening music.
Is the Panasonic HTF890 capabale of audio monitoring
Yep, they are monitoring headphones. But without strong bass.
@DrDave amazon seems to have pretty good price: http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-RP-HTF890-S-Studio-Monitor/dp/B0052T7FB6
I'd be interested in buying a pair to evaluate, if you can send me a link.
I will. Slightly later.
Btw, check that your head is not very large, otherwise two out of three headphones won't be too comfortable.
It is common flaw of Chinese headphones :-)
First ones. Takstar Pro 80.
As I said, manufacturing quality is really good.
Headphones fit best average or small heads. On large ones they could be sometimes uncomfortable, but can be ok. Depends on your head. They do not press your head much from the sides, so you can sit for long long hours.
Also do not like coiled cables for home use. But they are very handy sometimes.
I am not fan of closed headphones, as none of them can match open designs.
But this ones are not bad. Quite good, instead.
best thing is that they are balanced, no big coloration.
Can be used for on set monitoring, isolation is quite good.
Coiled cable, good metal connector and free padded hard box become big pluses.
Bass is slightly rised (normally for closed phones), but not boomy and excessive.
This ones have least amount of sibilance (among three different phones).
Topic about 2nd heaphones:

Measurement data for the Takstar http://en.goldenears.net/10893
Yep, but besides few basic things (usually you can predict too much sibilance, too bright, or too much bass) such measurements have low value for headphones.
Absolutely--the "mega bass" is the one that makes it useless, at least the bright "cans" can be used to check edits.
They do not have any "mega bass" for sure.
As I said, headphone measurements is one of the worst things ever existing. They are useful mostly to understand some difference and to check really bad things.
I just got Pro 80 in the mail, I am amazed by the build quality. My first impressions are very positive. Just this cable is too short, it can be stretched a lot but it is getting in the way all the time. Everything is built perfectly, materials and everything. Now, sound seems very precise, I am not an headphones expert, but I have very "sensitive" ears, and these phones sound very clean. Some getting used to will have to happen, but for now I am happy.
Thanks for the tip @Vitaliy_Kiselev
Good memory foam velour pads for them.
Pro 80 almost vanished, few of left have price too big
You can look for ISK HP2011 as analog made on same factory

Vk are they good for tracking in studio ? Will they leak much you think ?I'm about to replace 2 of the mono price head phones that I use for tracking as they start to distort sound after 3 years of use .
Well, they are closed. All else depend on ears, if they are giant...
Ok I'll grab a couple .lol
Any good 2 to 4 channel headphone amp on that site ?

Nice to see them available again.
A few reviews mention that the Kingston HyperX Cloud gaming headphones are rebranded Takstar Pro-80's. Or the Swedish Qpad line. The Kingston Cloud Core is currently on sale for $59 US/ Canada. If you buy in Canada that's only $45 US. It has a braided cord. with a 6 ft braided extension cord. The microphone is detachable. The Cloud Core is the same as the more expensive Cloud and Cloud II, but has no surround sound USB dongle and a different mike.

Staples Canada $45 US ( $59 CDN)
More correct is to say that this headphones are made on same factory, and share many things with Pro 80.
But they are clearly not rebrand.
