Capitalism: US can command to release Meng Wanzhou that they hold hostage
    • The U.S. Justice Department is in talks about a possible resolution in the legal case against the chief financial officer of Huawei Technologies Co., according to a person familiar with the matter, a simmering dispute that has fueled a clash between the world’s two biggest economies.

No deal or terms have been reached in the discussion about the fate of Meng Wanzhou, said the person, asking not to be identified because the matter is private.

Justice officials and lawyers have discussed the prospect of a deferred prosecution agreement related to wire and bank fraud charges, which would allow Meng to return home to China from Canada in exchange for admitting wrongdoing in the criminal case.

Rumors in the industry are that exchange can be to the special written agreement from Huawei to never use TSMC 5nm and upcoming 3nm processes. Huawei will be also asked to put special fund (around $35 billions USD) that will be seized by US in case they will break promise.

EU: China and Mordor are responsible for EU bureaucrats faults
    • The European Union has accused Mordor and China of spreading misinformation about the coronavirus. It is reported by Reuters with reference to the European Commission.

It is noted that some countries, including Mordorand China, conducted operations aimed at spreading misinformation around the coronavirus pandemic in the European Union in order to "undermine democratic discussions." According to representatives of the alliance, the threat to democracy requires a full response.

First it had been Crusades, now "threat to democracy".

    Capitalism: Drugs and efficient management
    • Lomustine has been used for over 40 years to treat brain tumors, Hodgkin's disease, lung, stomach, intestinal, kidney and myeloma cancers. In 2013, Bristol-Myers Squibb (USA) sold lomustine to NextSource Biotechnology (USA), a startup, at that time the drug was sold under the CeeNU trademark and cost $50 per capsule. The new owner renamed the drug Gleostine and today the same dosage costs $768.

The patent for lomustine expired (apparently, almost 30 years ago), but there are no analogues in the United States.

And after this capitalists ask why people want to do rough things to them.

Capitalism: ADATA again playing with SSD specs
    • Check early topic - https://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/21383/story-of-idiots-adata-su650-and-su655-ssd-drives/p1

Adata’s original XPG SX8200 Pro featured Silicon Motion’s SM2262ENG NVMe SSD controller (often referred to as SM2262EN) and IMFT 64L TLC NAND flash.

Now, Adata is shipping the same SSD SKU, but with Silicon Motion’s SM2262G NVMe controller instead of the top-performing ENG model. Adata also pairs the controller with Samsung’s fourth-generation 64L TLC flash, and not the original IMFT 64L TLC.

After reviewing multiple SSDs with the same SMI controller, the SX8200 Pro stuck out as the top-performer time and time again. We didn’t know exactly why; the difference between similar products with the same controller often come from different firmwares. However, we did make an interesting discovery just a few months ago. Thanks to decoding tools, we found that most competing SM2262ENG-powered SSDs come with the controller clocked at 625 MHz, including the 256GB, 512GB, and 2TB Adata XPG SX8200 Pro samples we had on hand. However, the 1TB Adata XPG SX8200 Pro we received at launch was clocked 25MHz higher, operating at a healthy 650 MHz.

Idiots: Very Dark Grey Lives Matter Coming
    • Students at Manchester University have demanded that the word “black” when used as a negative expression such as the word “blackmail” should be banned because it is “divisive.”

Citing concerns of black people, the report noted that there were “linguistic concerns about Black being associated with negative expressions” such as “blackmail” and “black sheep.”

After the report labeled the use of words which included “black” as “divisive and not inclusive,” the university’s student union demanded that “any other use of the word ‘black’ as an adjective to express negative connotations” should be banned in research papers, lecture slides, and books published by professors.

The next step will be to ban word "black" as having bad history and connotations and replace it with "politically correct and inclusive very dark grey".

Coronavirus: It seems like US had COVID already in December
    • To determine if SARS-CoV-2 reactive antibodies were present in sera prior to the first identified case in the U.S. on January 19, 2020, residual archived samples from 7,389 routine blood donations collected by the American Red Cross from December 13, 2019 to January 17, 2020, from donors resident in nine states (California, Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington, and Wisconsin) were tested at CDC for anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. Specimens reactive by pan-immunoglobulin (pan Ig) enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) against the full spike protein were tested by IgG and IgM ELISAs, microneutralization test, Ortho total Ig S1 ELISA, and receptor binding domain / Ace2 blocking activity assay.

Of the 7,389 samples, 106 were reactive by pan Ig. Of these 106 specimens, 90 were available for further testing. Eighty four of 90 had neutralizing activity, 1 had S1 binding activity, and 1 had receptor binding domain / Ace2 blocking activity >50%, suggesting the presence of anti-SARS-CoV-2-reactive antibodies. Donations with reactivity occurred in all nine states.

You can watch build in camera feed using smartphone app.

On mass market being advertised to track kids without them knowing, so they won't be able to masturbate too much during boring distant learning (hence also how camera is positioned).
